Samson Tan
Serial Entrepreneur & Co-Founder, 8M Media

Mr. Samson Tan, has been involved in the travel industry since 1997. He attended TMC Computer School and after graduation, began working for Oakland Snooker Club as a Club Supervisor.

His competencies resulted in a promotion to Club Manager within 9 months, and he subsequently founded the Samson Tan Snooker Promotion in 1990 which has a focus in promoting snooker in Singapore through the organization of tournaments. At the same time, he was also engaged in the sale of snooker equipment and accessories, and led a team of 4 to win the Guinness National League Championship Cup. In 1992, he started Farich Trading Pte Ltd where he was the Sole Distributor for car accessory products such as Cyclone & Car leather seats from Korea. At this time, he was managing 15 staffs. He then went on to start a fishery business in Thailand, trading frozen seafood from Thailand to Taiwan and China before he eventually founded GTMC Travel Pte Ltd in 1997.

Manoj Aravindakshan, one of founder directors of 8M Media, has over 10-years experience in the field of online media and marketing covering content strategy and generation, product development and online marketing, with special focus on search engine marketing.

Manoj also serves as a Consulting Content/ Marketing Director with other online media & full-service interactive agencies in Singapore, UK and India.
